Our roots are firmly planted in financing generations of farm and ranch families who feed the world. The Farm Credit System is the largest single provider of agricultural credit in the United States.

At Mountain Plains Farm Credit Services, our customers are our partners - shareholders, with everyone invested in a successful future. So, we not only provide affordable financing and valuable country living insight, we build relationships that grow along with the families we serve for years to come. And at the end of each year, when we make a profit, we repay our customer partners with a dividend check. In 2009 alone, our customers shared $3.0 million. And since 2004, the Ownership Dividend Program has returned $45.5 million. It reduces the cost of borrowing money and keeps part of our profits in the rural communities we serve.
